The Community Access Program, or CAP, is a partnership of the Waterloo Catholic District School Board and Industry Canada to provide computer and Internet access to those who might not have access otherwise. The CAP being managed by the Waterloo Catholic District School Board is designed to provide computer/internet access to members of the school communities of several schools as well as through community partners and senior citizen homes across the region. The at the school and community partners may be limited to the immediate members of the school/parent community at the school, or the residents of a senior citizen home.
As well as the school and community sites, there are two ‘hub’ sites set up at the Waterloo and Cambridge campuses of the St. Louis Adult Learning Centres. The hub sites will be open to the general public and have a greater number of computers each for this broader access.
There are CAP sites across the Region of Waterloo. Click on the appropriate city for a list of WCDSB Cap sites in that area.
